Thématiques de recherche
Mes recherches questionnent les processus psychologiques sous jacents au maintien et à la protection du bien-être psychologique, de la santé physique et du fonctionnement cognitif. Dans cette perspective, un premier axe de recherche s’intéresse plus particulièrement aux déterminants sociocognitifs des comportements de promotion et de prévention de la santé auprès de diverses populations (e.g. adultes sédentaires, personnes âgées, personnes diabétiques de type 2) et à l’identification des barrières/facilitateurs à l’adoption de ces comportements de santé (e.g. âge subjectif, traits de personnalité). Un second axe cherche à identifier les facteurs psychologiques pouvant jouer un rôle protecteur pour l’ensemble des fonctions cognitives, physiques et le bien être psychologique des personnes âgées.
