SPORT INCLUSIF et ACCESSIBILISATION DES PRATIQUES

1) Enjeux théoriques (multiples et croisés)

  1. a) Ingénierie didactique et pédagogique du sport (*) basée sur le “design for all”

—> Fragilité intrinsèque du processus d’innovation (Gaglio 2011) où s’entrecroisent facteurs techniques, organisationnels et symboliques ( dimensions matérielle, sociale et imaginaire (Desjeux 2004), charriant pêle-mêle traditions, résistances, représentations fossilisées, mais aussi apprentissages, découvertes, créativité, investissements identitaires et relationnels (Alter 2010)

Ce dernier registre (anthropologie philosophique) permet d’aborder la technique, non plus soit comme support d’émancipation soit comme support d’aliénation, mais bien les deux à la fois. Et pour utiliser le vocabulaire de Bernard Stiegler et d’Ars Industrialis, la technique est surtout à penser comme un PHARMAKON (à la fois remède et poison), ce qui appelle donc à une “pharmacologie » du sport en général, et du « sport inclusif” en particulier, afin de mieux saisir les rapports entre technique et éthique, entre codification réglementaire et flux expérientiels vécus, entre “grammatisation” et “territorialisation”, entre “technologies relationnelles” et “trans-individuation”.

Extrait de thèse: “Est-ce à cette condition d’innovation technique, d’ingénierie pédagogique, de design, de conception universelle, de grammatisation de l’expérience inclusive, que le sport ainsi devenu inclusif se transforme en un modèle culturel opérationnel qui valorise tout à la fois le lien social et les processus individuels d’accomplissement de soi, ce que Bernard Stiegler condense dans l’expression de ‘technologie relationnelle transindividuante’ ?

L’étude de cas du Baskin nous suggère à la fois que cette innovation technique apparait comme une condition nécessaire, en représentant une force structurante générative (ou dégénérative) sur le plan social et sur le plan culturel477, mais en même temps qu’elle n’est pas une condition suffisante à garantir des expériences transindividuantes.” (Valet 2013, 398)

  1. d) Ingénierie du sport inclusif à l’aune des 4 mobiles anthropologiques de l’action

Cette « théorie multidimensionnelle de l’action” (Mauss, 1950) montre que « l’action individuelle ou collective se déploie selon quatre mobiles – à la fois irréductibles l’un à l’autre en théorie mais toujours liés en pratique –, et organisés en deux paires d’opposés : l’obligation et la liberté d’une part, l’intérêt et le désintéressement de l’autre. » (Caillé, 2007 : 64-65)

Extraits de thèse: “En effet, on peut voir dans ce modèle théorique un outil très intéressant pour comprendre comment la structure technique d’une discipline sportive génère une forme de sociabilité particulière entre les pratiquants, à partir d’une combinaison toujours singulière de ces quatre mobiles en interaction, puisque le règlement sportif a cette double fonction de contraindre les actions des joueurs (mobile de l’obligation) tout en leur assurant des marges d’action suffisamment étendues pour qu’ils tirent plaisir de l’expression créative de leur capacités (mobile de liberté). Or, dans le cas du ‘sport inclusif’ tout particulièrement, le second couple de mobiles de l’action acquiert un sens complémentaire tout à fait déterminant, puisque l’engagement des joueurs dans l’activité peut provenir autant d’un intérêt pour eux-mêmes (mobile de l’intérêt) que d’un intérêt envers les autres ou pour la relation aux autres, par ‘aimance’ (mobile du désintéressement).” (Valet 2013, 389)

“Dans les multiples déclinaisons possibles des formes sportives à disposition des personnes en situation de handicap, de façon sans doute par trop schématique, on peut associer à la négligence de l’un de ces quatre mobiles un risque à chaque fois différent sur la façon dont se manifeste la participation. Si l’on néglige l’aimance, on produira par exemple des sports spécialisés, séparés, (tendance ségrégative). Si l’on néglige la liberté, on produira des sports normalisateurs (tendance normative). Si l’on néglige l’intérêt  on produira des sports paternalistes (tendance à l’assistanat). Si l’on néglige l’obligation, on produira des sports injustes (tendance à l’injustice ou l’iniquité).” (391)

Ce point d) permet de lier les points a) et c) et en partie b).

2) Axes de recherche

Voici 3 pistes possibles (qui sont largement compatibles entre elles):

  1. a) Conditions du développement d’une culture inclusive en EPS et par l’EPS

Conditions de la ‘participation inclusive en sport’ (passant par le dépassement de la rhétorique inclusive)

  1. b) Evaluation de l’impact du développement de pratiques inclusives dans la programmation en EPS 

(Possibilité d’une étude expérimentale dans des écoles pilote à partir de l’introduction du Baskin)

Ex: Impact généré par la pratique sur les élèves en fonction de:

            * interactions et relations sociales

            * sentiment de compétence et d’estime de soi

            * bien-être relationnel, santé subjective, qualité de vie

            * sens communautaire, et conscience de la valeur d’une société inclusive

            * appropriation personnelle de compétences proposer et compétences spécifiques en EPS

  1. c) Description des formes et des modalités (et les nuances de sens) de “l’inclusion” dans les APS  

            * en fonction de la nature-même de l’activité

                (design technique; logique interne; théorie multidimensionnelle de l’action)

            * en fonction de la perception subjective des personnes qui vivent l’expérience en 1ère personne

            * mais aussi en fonction d’autres critères d’analyse

                       _ contexte institutionnel de pratique (et ses finalités)

                       _ méthodologie d’enseignement de l’activité

                       _ autres stratégies mises en place en parallèle pour favoriser la participation sociale

Je coordonne actuellement le lancement du projet européen « Inclusive sport for inclusive society. From Baskin and beyond… » (2017-2020), qui fait suite au projet “Baskin at University” (2013-2015) qui a permis de construire un partenariat entre les acteurs suivants :

L’hypothèse est à présent celle de présenter un projet dans le cadre du Programme européen ERASMUS PLUS au travers de l’appel « KA2 – Cooperation for innovation and exchange of good practice – Strategic Partnership”.

Impact societal

De façon générale, mon désir est celui d’explorer une des voies singulières par lesquelles le savoir de l’homme sort de son enceinte institutionnelle pour dynamiser le changement social.

Je nourris en effet l’espoir que la démarche scientifique puisse participer de façon critique aux dynamiques du monde dans lequel nous vivons ; d’autant que, dans cette perspective, le choix privilégié de certaines thématiques qui me tiennent plus à coeur ne signifie pas refuser de les déconstruire elles-mêmes de façon critique. Bref, mon horizon idéal n’est pas la Vérité, mais la Vie. Ce n’est donc pas le Savoir que je veux nourrir à partir des pratiques du monde, mais plutôt nourrir le Monde à partir d’une mise en pratique des savoirs. J’ai bien conscience du fait que les deux postures ont leur propre risque interne, mais je préfère pour l’instant essayer d’assumer du mieux que je peux celui de la seconde posture.

Concernant plus concrètement le cas du thème portant sur « l’accessibilisation des pratiques et le sport inclusif », il est aisé d’en comprendre l’impact sociétal potentiel puisque cette thématique reprend, de façon critique, ce qu’appellent de leurs vœux de nombreux discours institutionnels internationaux ou nationaux (comme la Convention ONU sur les droits des personnes handicapées). Mais cet axe de recherche souligne notamment le décalage entre la rhétorique inclusive et les pratiques inclusives, en essayant d’en comprendre les conditions de dépassement.
