Thématiques de recherche

Pour l’essentiel, mon travail s’organise autour de l’analyse et de la compréhension de l’engagement et/ou du réengagement de jeunes obèses dans une pratique physique.  L’objectif, dans une démarche interactionniste, est de reconstituer les épisodes biographiques des jeunes obèses en ce qui concerne l’expérience de la maladie et celle des formes adaptées d’activités physiques afin de comprendre plus particulièrement le ou les processus d’engagement de la personne dans une AP.  L’entrée dans l’expérience d’une pratique physique – le maintien de cet engagement – la sortie d’un dispositif de pratique physique adaptée sont appréhendés dans une démarche compréhensive. Les injonctions et négociations des professionnels de santé avec le patient, l' »inobservance » du traitement, la remise en question des représentations, les relations aux autres et les témoignages sur les transformations relatives à l’action (difficultés, réussites, évolutions), ainsi que sur les sensations (douleur, bien être, plaisir), sont autant d’éléments retenus dans le processus de reconstruction des phases de la « trajectoire de maladie« .

Impact societal

Saisir la complexité d’un engagement ou d’un réengagement dans une pratique physique pour de jeunes obèses. Ce qui génère un impact sur les compétences professionnelles nécessaires dans l’accompagnement de ces jeunes.
